About Jennifer McCoy........

Jennifer McCoy is the principal consultant behind Positive Change Consulting. She has a wealth of experience in teaching, management training and coaching. She specialises in using coaching and mentoring strategies to build leadership skills, develop teamwork and improve communication – assisting organisations to improve business performance through people.

She has worked with a wide range of industries:

  • Education – Australian Principal’s Centre, Deakin University, individual schools
  • Health, Local Government, Emergency Services, Superannuation and Aged Care

Jennifer lectures in Small Business Management at the Australian Catholic University. She is also

About Tony Austin.....

Tony Austin is a Director and an Associate Consultant of Positive Change. He brings to that association broad experience and expertise in organisational management at an operational level, in quality management and in project management.

As a Quality Manager, Tony has led both manufacturing and healthcare organisations to certification to the ISO 9000 standard. He has also held the position of Operations Manager, Ambulance Service Victoria-North Eastern Region, a large rural organisation geographically dispersed across multiple sites. In that role his responsibilities encompassed human resource management, management of branch stations, property and equipment resource management and strategic planning at a corporate team level.

As a member of the team overseeing the Y2K Project for Rural Ambulance Victoria (RAV), and then as Project Manager (RAV), he was responsible for researching, developing and overseeing Tender processes as well as monitoring and evaluating the outcomes of projects. Two diverse projects in his portfolio included Driver Education and Oxygen Decanting, which represented a combined value of $1.75M.

Tony has presented a paper at the conference of the Quality Society of Australasia (1996) and jointly authored a report on the implementation of quality management initiatives in Ambulance Service Victoria which was subsequently published in 'The Quality Magazine' in 1997.
